Fine grade shoemaker's thread, now out of production and scarce. Nice long fiber strands. Ideal for producing your own waxed thread. 

Preserved in the original box up to present.

It is worth pointing out linen thread is finer than hemp. Therefore, where a standard 3 cord hemp thread is used for stitching soles, a 4 or 5 cord linen thread is made to obtain equivalent weight. 

For 5 cord hemp thread equivalent, an 8 cord linen thread is prepared.
