Brass and cast steel shoemaker’s lace machine by a French workshop, in likelihood Daudé Paris.
Decorated in Art Deco style foliage motif, in likelihood made around 1930-50s.
This device is used to roll metal aglets onto shoelace ends. Useful for making sturdy shoelaces and ladies’ silk ribbon laces.
The device can mounted to a worktop for best use and allows for two sizes to be used: small and large.
All original brass, wood and steel parts.
