£0.00

Seat Breaker by E.Eggenschwiler for Belgian supplier J.Boets Bruxelles.

The Eggenschwiler workshop was based outside Paris around the 1930s and produced some of the finest shoemaking irons, made to order for different Parisian and French speaking suppliers. They can often be found with 2 stamps: the Eggenschwiler maker stamp and supplier stamp: J. Boets Bruxelles, Perroussel Paris, A.Servais Bruxelles, A.Dupuy Paris, Wuntergev Paris and F. Mehrens Zurich.

The seat breaker is used to rasp the top edge of the heel without damaging the upper. The top lip is adjusted by two screws to set the depth. This allows to create a very tight heel close to the upper or wider as required.

Stamped: J.Boets rue Haute 292 Bruxelles E.Eggenschwiler Colombes
