Shoemaker's Burnishing Sticks
£0.00
A collection of four German burnishing sticks, made of beechwood and other hardwoods.
Each of slightly varying edge shape.
These are used for a variety of stages including shaping the hold fast, closing channels, rubbing down seams - and also mainly burnishing the sole edge.
One of the most ancient forms of shoemaking tool, these were in use before finishing irons and still used in modern practice.
