Manufactured in the 1910s.

    Sizes: 4mm through to 10mm - 3/16 inch through to wide 3/8inch

  • 3 French Double Edge irons

    Numbered: 10,11 - 16,17 - 20,21

    Sizes: 4 & 5mm - 7 & 7,5 mm - 9,5 & 10 mm

    To be used in conjunction with Top Edge Iron

Original beech handles with brass ferrules.

Many handles bearing woodworm marks. Entire set has been twice treated and polished with natural beeswax.

A remarquable single maker set of antique irons by one of the best French workshops in seemingly unused condition. Complete with detailing irons to produce a finely finished shoe. Also includes unusual narrow fudge wheels for producing close welt finish. Suited to finishing all sizes of gents’ and ladies’ shoes.
