The stock knife is hooked to a work-top and its tip used as a leverage axis.
It is used to reduce bulk (‘stock’) on a last to transform the rough last to a more refined shape before finishing with the rasp.

Clean and mounted in original handle.
The blade is free of rust, sharp and honed for use.
The handle has been twice treated against wood worm and oiled.
