The tool is run at the top edge of the heel to give a decorative finish.

Seat wheels can be found numbered from 0 to 9. This is grade 2, one of the finer grades to be found. 

Best suited to the decoration of finer work such as ladies’, pump and slipper shoes. Also suited in some cases to the decoration of men's shoes with a rubber sole - where the space of leather to decorate is reduced. Versatile grade.
