The Eggenschwiler workshop was based outside Paris around the 1930s and produced some of the finest shoemaking irons, made to order for different Parisian and French speaking suppliers. They can often be found with 2 stamps: the Eggenschwiler maker stamp and supplier stamp: J. Boets Bruxelles, Perroussel Paris, A.Servais Bruxelles, A.Dupuy Paris, Wuntergev Paris, F. Mehrens Zurich and L.Petersen Zurich.

The set is ideally suited to finish ladie’s shoes, gent’s city and gent’s country shoes according to size required.
