Original Singer 18-3 Cylinder Arm Sewing Machine
with continuous wheel feed, specifically designed for shoe work.
Serial number D792505 - Manufactured in 1909.
All original mechanism and treadle powered work frame.
The wooden table top has been replaced with an exact replica of the original (too damaged), made in solid pine.
Still favoured today by bespoke craftsmen in the trade, this machine has a long standing history as the traditional first choice in London’s West End shoemaking. Pictured is Jim Saunders of John Lobb (1945) using the exact same model.

Machine is fully functional and ready for use. It was recently serviced. There are no missing parts, no flaws or defects to mention. Original paint and decorations showing some normal signs due to age.
The machine is located in London. It can be collected in person. International shipment can also be organised at the buyer’s initiative. Shipping costs are not included in the price and arrangements need to be made prior to order.
