Set of four pump finishing irons by early English toolmakers; comprising Pascoe, Bolwell and Moyns London.
Antique Victorian shoemaking tools made between 1880 - 1910s. These 3 workshops were located in and around Soho supplying shoemaking tools to London’s West-End shoemaking firms.
Four tools including:
Single lip forepart iron. Size: narrow 1/8 inch
Stamped: 2 Bolwell
Bevelled Waist iron. Size: Size: narrow 1/8 inch
Stamped: 1 Pascoe London
Double lip forepart iron. Size: 1/8 inch
Unstamped. Maker: Moyns London
Double lip square waist iron: Size 1/8 inch
Stamped: 1 Bolwell
Set ideal for completing pumps in either a single lip narrow 1/8 inch finish or double lip 1/8 inch finish specification.
All original handles. Iron by Moyns showing burn damage but remains solid in handle.
